Thanks for the response. Problem is, my broker can't find my any shares of any inverse ETFs to short. Sucks to be a small retail investor.

I'd try it out with FAS and FAZ. Be very careful. Remember that there are lots of risks. Don't try it with all your money.

Let's say you have $10,000 that you can afford to risk on this. Short at most $2,500 worth of each ETF in the pair. So, for example, short $2,500 worth of FAS and $2,500 worth of FAZ. Keep the remaining $5,000 in cash.

And try to paper trade it first just to see how it works.
